The Best Dumb Phones with the Longest Battery Life

If you need a basic phone just to make phone calls or send texts that also has a great battery life and will last all day, check out the best dumb and feature phones below.

What is a dumb phone?

A dumb phone is used just to make phone calls and send texts. Unlike smartphones, they generally won’t have fancy features and functions, like touch screen displays, Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet, face recognition to unlock the phone, motion sensors so you can use gestures to skip songs, GPS for location tracking and gyroscope to detect how you are holding the phone to display pages in certain orientations, etc.

Because dumb phones don’t generally have these features, their battery life lasts longer, consumed only by their main functions – making calls and sending texts.

This makes dumb phones ideal for when you’re hiking, camping, travelling or other areas where there may not be charging spots.
